Fry bacon and ham in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat until brown and crisp, about 10 minutes. Stir in onions and granulated garlic, sautéing frequently for 5 minutes until the onions are tender. Add okra and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, then remove the mixture from the pot and set aside.
Pour stock into the pot and bring to a boil. Stir in rice, salt, and pepper, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until the rice is tender. Return the okra mixture to the pot, stir to combine thoroughly, and heat through. Fluff with a fork and serve.
